Who We Are

New Life Community Church represents the multi-ethnic and professional groups of people in the city located in various communities. We are a community where you are invited to worship and be connected and join the fellowship in the agape love of our Savior Jesus Christ.

On the Cross, Jesus has finished the work of Salvation. New Life Community purposed to help you know Christ deeply and to form a strong and loving relationship with Him based on grace — a grace that will forgive you of your sins and grant you the power of God’s Holy Spirit to live a life that will glorify Him. New Life places great value on the Holy Scripture. “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” New Life puts great effort in studying the Word of God, and strive to share with people through fellowship and acts of service.

New Life makes it’s priority to serve the community with love, care and diligence. Teaching the word of God, Proclaiming the Good News of the Kingdom, and Healing disease and sickness among the people, are the center mission that New Life would focus on.

We give our invitation sincerely to you and your family to visit our church, may God’s grace will increase even more!

Our Vision

Located in the city of Baltimore, we wish to be instrumental in the fulfillment of God’s dream, the universal vision of building the body of Christ. Just as the first disciples cast their net holding 153 fish without tearing it, New Life seeks the abundant diversity formed by people from various backgrounds harmoniously united in the truth.

Faith Statement

We believe...

in the Holy Scriptures as originally given by God, divinely inspired, infallible, entirely trustworthy; and the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct...

One God , eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit...

Our Lord Jesus Christ , God manifest in the flesh, His virgin birth, His sinless human life, His divine miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension, His mediatorial work, and His Personal return in power and glory...

The Salvation of lost and sinful man through the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ by faith apart from works, and regeneration by the Holy Spirit...

The Holy Spirit , by whose indwelling the believer is enabled to live a holy life, to witness and work for the Lord Jesus Christ...

The Unity of the Spirit of all true believers, the Church, the Body of Christ...

The Resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

Jesus is...

"I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. - John 14:6

DC Bethel Presbyterian Church, we're all about Jesus. Jesus is a our good friend.

He was to die for our sins. Because of his death on the cross, we have the opportunity daily to live the new life Jesus. Jesus loves and guides us how to love and live in a way that brings glory to God.

Jesus forgives us our sin though we don't deserve it. Jesus had no sin, he would die on the cross for our sins, and that he is the only way to get salvation. The only way to be friends with God is through Jesus.

God loves us! He sent His own Son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins. He died for your sins. He was punished so you don't have to be. Not only that; death did not defeat Him. After three days, Jesus rose from the dead, alive again!

The only way to find forgiveness from God and to begin a relationship with Him is to trust in Jesus' sacrifice for you and repent, turn from your sins. We urge you to take this step of faith today. To do that, simply talk to God, this is called praying, and tell Him you believe in His Son.

We suggest a prayer like this:
Dear heavenly Father, I know that I'm a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe you've died for my sins, and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins. I repent of my sins. I invite you to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow you as my Lord and Savior. In Jesus' name, Amen.
- Billy Graham

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." - John 3:16

No matter who you are or how you??ve lived your life, God will receive you into His family. He will change you and make you complete. Trust Him and experience His mercy for yourself.

Jesus is holy. He is powerful. And He can change your life. Your new life can start now.

In Jesus our sins are forgiven on the cross, and cross is not the end but the beginning of life with Jesus.

Understanding that Christ “loved the church and gave himself up for her” (Ephesians 5:25), New Life retains formal membership. We acknowledge formal membership as an important step in demonstrating our commitment to Jesus Christ.

All believers are members of the body of Christ and local church membership is the public acknowledgement of this spiritual reality. As followers of Christ, we are all “members of the household of God” (Ephesians 2:19), and it is our duty to play our roles as a member of His body. We become one healthy body when each member does its part well (1 Corinthians 12:20).

New Life Community Church holds its members in high regard—they are expected to proclaim and reveal the gospel in anywhere their life happens. In a multi-cultural city, God, in his sovereignty, placed us among these people with a purpose. We pray to be faithful managers of the House of God. A membership system serves the church in this regard—to equip people to produce spiritual growth and be accountable to each other for spiritual growth. A person cannot be accountable when they are not committed to any specific church family. We pray that the unity formed by the commitment of diverse people gains the power to bring gospel impact to the city.

Being a member of New Life accepts a call to a higher degree of responsibility and service. It also defines who can be entrusted with positions of ministry leadership within the church. We are all disciples of Jesus who set apart for one dream of building Kingdom of God on earth. You enter into a membership covenant so as to participate officially as a part of the movement of God’s kingdom within the church.
